Florida KidCare provides affordable, quality health and dental insurance for children. Currently, several hundred thousand children in Florida live without healthcare coverage, most are eligible for low-cost or free health insurance through the Florida KidCare program.
Millions of Florida children from birth through the end of age 18 rely on Florida KidCare for the head-to-toe coverage they need. To qualify for free or low-cost coverage, a child must:
- Be under age 19
- Meet income eligibility requirements
- Be a U.S. citizen or qualified non-citizen
